The early education teachers at GPA are passionate about your child's happiness and growth. They're dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem and learning. GPA is more than a job to them. It's an opportunity to share their passion for life while they awaken the wonder inside each and every child's mind.

Here's how we do it:

Small Class Size

  • Our low teacher-to-student ratios allow teachers to focus on the individual learning styles and needs of each child in our school

Partnering with Families

  • GPA teachers and staff want to form a strong partnership with you (families) to ensure the best possible experience for your child and seek to understand your unique needs. Our teachers provide daily communication with families to ensure good behaviors are reinforced and poor behaviors are reduced.

Common Core curriculum with STEAM

  • The objective of Common Core is to ensure that students are college and career ready by the end of high school. The development of the Common Core curriculum began in 2010, when an initiative was launched to set uniform academic standards for K–12 math and English language arts across the United States. The standards were created by identifying college and career readiness requirements and then building "backwards" K-12 standards to support college readiness. As a primary school, GPA uses these standards to ensure students are properly prepared for secondary school on their way to being college ready!
  • Science, Social Studies (History), Fine Arts and Technology (ICT) are complementary components to the Common Core English language arts and mathematics standards.

STEAM is an acronym for (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). It is an integrated educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking about real-world problems. This interdisciplinary approach has helped create innovations like the iPhone. GPA infuses STEAM concepts throughout its curriculum to engage and elevate student inquiry and learning.

Assessments

  • GPA monitors student achievement with a variety of academic checkpoints and standardize testing. GPA strives to identify academic deficiencies early working with students and parents to remediate academic concerns and get students on grade level track -- assessments helps us gauge student performance.
